Name one personal goal or personal record you would like to accomplish through Crossfit?: Because of Crossfit I am more fit than I have ever been, so I just want to become more fit. I want to go into next year's open and be able to compete at a higher level, with a proficiency in all of the movements.
Besides Crossfit, what do you do for fun?: Rock climbing with the CCA fit fam and playing some Codenames.
Favorite Crossfit moment?: Every moment of the 2017 Crossfit Open.
Favorite cheat meal or food?: New York cherry cheesecake
Interesting fact about yourself?: I am one of two people in known Lister Dodgeball League history to successfully execute a push-up dodge (a.k.a. "The Curtis Dell") in a dodgeball game.
What got you to try Crossfit?: I had heard so much about Crossfit and wanted to give it a try. I had no idea it would be so awesome!
What do you enjoy most about Capital City Athletics?: The atmosphere. Everyone is so upbeat, helpful, and they push you to become better than you were the day before. Everyone just wants to see you succeed. It's so awesome!
Favorite quote or words to live by?: All you can do is the best you can do.
Advice to newbies to Crossfit?: First, it makes no sense to say that you want to get fit before you try Crossfit. That's kind of the point of Crossfit. Excuses are lame. Second, if you suck at something, practice it. Figuring out the proper technique is such an important first step. Third, have fun and don't take yourself so seriously. All you can do is the best you can do.
